Reston, Va. - Daniel B. Wopperer, M.D., FACR, of Rochester, N.Y., has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology (ACR).  The induction took place at a formal convocation ceremony during the recent 86th ACR Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership conference in Washington, D.C. on May 3rd, 2009.

Dr. Wopperer is a Diagnostic Radiologist and Orthopedic Imaging specialist at Borg & Ide Imaging Group, P.C.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). He is a member of the ACR, Radiological Society of North America, Monroe County Medical Society, Rochester Academy of Medicine, Rochester Roentgen Ray Society and the New York State Radiological Society.  Dr. Wopperer received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1981 and completed his residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

He is the former Managing Partner and Chief of Clinical Diagnostic Imaging at the Borg Imaging Group, LLP.  Dr. Wopperer also continues as a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators and has illustrated many medical textbooks and scientific articles.
