Christopher J. Schaeffer, M.D., Ph.D., a board certified neuroradiologist, has joined Borg & Ide Imaging, the area’s largest and oldest medical imaging practice.

Dr. Schaeffer received a B.S. in chemistry from John Carroll University in Ohio, followed by a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Ohio State University. After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Schaeffer completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and his fellowship in neuroradiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

His skills include a wide range of procedures for pain management as well as diagnostic cross-sectional MRI and CT imaging for patients with neurological disorders.

A native of Rochester, Dr. Schaeffer is pleased to have returned to the city with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and camping, and his daughters are active in Irish dancing.

Dr. Schaeffer joins 27 other board-certified radiologists at Borg & Ide Imaging who provide care in 10 locations throughout the greater Rochester area.
